Comfort Systems –
The Cabin was constructed using the latest in state-of-the-art
systems to ensure the comfort of our guests. These included foam
foundation forms that provide 8 inches of insulation in the First
Floor walls, 10” Structural Insulated Panels that form the Cabin’s
Andersen Thermopane windows throughout and an in-floor radiant
heating system utilizing a computerized Buderus oil-fired heating
system that warms from the feet up rather than from the head
down. This system can be monitored and tuned remotely via the
Internet, permits stocking feet walking on all surfaces and
virtually eliminates drafts.
– The Cabin is overseen by people in the nearby
area. This makes for easy key exchange, personable service and
7/24 on-call service if required.
